Did you guys even know these guys were commentators because they are doing our game. Don Criqui, Steve Beuerlein. Who is the first guy?

I don't think he does a game every week though because I have never heard him commentate a game this year.

Are you sure those are the commentators?

I've seen him before. I didn't even now that Beurlien was working in tv now.

Those guys must be the networks 5th team, either we are way down on their list or all the commentators are already on vacation...;)

It's going to be a good weekend of Football, the Colts Bengals game is on CBS as well here in Miami. The Sunday night and Monday night games stink though...

Criqui has perhaps been most visible (and audible) as a football play-by-play announcer; a task he began for CBS in 1964. Don was partnered with Gifford, Norm Van Brocklin and Sonny Jurgenson on NFL telecasts, and enjoyed ratings success. In addition to his football duties, the hard-working, versatile Criqui also handled CBS play-by-play coverage of the NBA, college basketball, track and field, horse racing, figure skating, gymanstics and swimming and diving.

Sorry i'm bored:D

That is what NFL.com said.

I can't wait until we get better. Then, we'll stop getting commentators who are one game away from busing tables at the networks X-Mas party.

:D At least it's not Dierdorf. I have to watch the game on mute when he works our games....

I believe last year Don Criqui was teamed with Steve Tasker. I actually like Criqui has a real distinctive voice, and he does a pretty good job calling games. I remember when I was a kid, all we got in PA was Steeler games, and I can remember Don Criqui and Merlin Olsen calling what seemed like every Steeler - Browns game. I'm talkin late 70's early 80's

Criqui is one of my favs in announcers. He did the playoff game between Miami and San Diego that went into overtime in the early 80' when Strock came in to lead the comeback attempt after we were behind like 28 to 0. Voted greatest game ever.
