To the Patriots...

I think it's compare-able.

Unfortunately, we lost four starters since then, but we've played with some very good teams.

Patriots are an over confident bunch. Their team is not as good people make it out to be. They haven't beaten a team with a winning record yet.

I noticed that.

Gawd I hate the Patsies.

Pats and Jets who's worse?

Have you noticed though the Pats rarely get major injuries. Take out Brady last year and they stay healthy through the year.

Pats haven't won on the road yet either. Hopefully next week isn't their first road win.

So we are comparing efforts now? Perfect, we finally can get some credit for moral victories.

Look for the new standings in 2010 to be changed from: W - L - T

to............... W - L - T - MV

My god, Al Davis is a complete moron but he has some great quotes, one being just win baby. Just win. The Patriots win a whole helluva lot more than the Fins. It is time we won some damn football games and get it done.

They are not burdened with 8 years of bad FA and drafting, while suffering with little talent from the 1-15 season. We are.

I've stated before the season, during the season and will again when they lose in the 1st two rounds of the playoffs that the Pats aren't that great. Their defense is weak, no defense ends since they got rid of Seymour (what a dumb move), their secondary is real weak. They have Brady, Moss and Welker and that will get you a few more victories then you should and it helps when you rarely ever get out coached.

All week I've listened to the pros about "how can NO cover Moss and Welker" and not a mention of how NE can stop the best offense in football.

This FO is closing the gap in a hurry to NE and before you know it we'll be seeing them in the rear view mirror.

Very true.

I wish this were true. While I do think our FO has put the structure in place to close the gap, NE already has a very good structure in place and will continue to thrive. Believe it or not, this is actually a "re-tooling" year for NE. Their defense has gotten tremendously younger. And they loaded up on picks for the deep 2010 draft by trading back in 2009 over and over. I don't foresee them being in our rearview anytime soon...more likely we'll be nemeses like Miami and Buffalo used to be in the 90s.

The game against the Colts maybe but we played 4x better than the Pats did against the Saints.
