So who's the better team?
 
Well, your need to compare to NE is the answer is it not. Lately they have been better and come on, lets stop relying on the past to prove our points. The true answer is on Sunday this week for the reality of today.
 
all i know is the dolphins are the winningest franchise in the NFL... and sparano and parcells should keep us ahead of the steelers, cuz theyre only like 4 games behind us..

They were around longer. We just added 2 teams to the league somewhere between 5-10 years ago. One was the texans, and I think one was the Titans. Not too sure though.

Oh, and this thread was started because of that pats fan coming over here and trying to rub last year's record in.

Are we still the winningest franchise?

I know we used to be, but I thought we lost that sometime over that last few years. I knew it was getting close anyways.

If we still are, that's good to know.
 
The only thing that proves is that your arguably the better Franchise just like your arguably the better team this year.

But when the Pats have Brady there the better team right now. I think we all know this and they have dominated this division for a while now so really there is no comparison.

I think it's pretty obvious who the better franchise is overall. The Patriots only really in the last decade or so have done anything worth noting.
 
The Patriots were irrelevant until 2002.

We have become irrelevant for pretty much this entire decade.

Looking at the grand scheme of things i would still take our "history" over their.....well recent history. Assuming we actually can get back to prominence within the next few years instead of wallowing in mediocrity.

I think they are the most winningest franchise in all of sports since 1970, arent they?

Their history includes more Championships and SBs, winning seasons are nice but teams are judged on NFL Championships.
