From Jason Cole:

"The funny part is that in trading for Feeley and Rosenfels, former Dolphins general manager Rick Spielman and coach Dave Wannstedt gave up second- and seventh-round picks for two guys who had seven games of experience between them. To get the current three, the Dolphins gave up a second and two sixths. They got three quarterbacks with a combined three Pro Bowl appearances and 139 games of experience."

I love it.

Wanny.

Saban.

Their names must not be put together in the same sentence again.

um yea, thats like a againts the rules on this site isnt it, putting those 2 names together, idk maybe im wrong, lol, but anywayz the 21st is wannys birthday

i supported dave.. but truth is, he cost us alot of games with that conservative approach of his... i agree with defense and running the ball to win games but we would get a lead and he would run 3 and out's until the other team caught up and then he let the offense go again...if you are moving the ball well why not keep pouring it on??? there was no reason we should have went 4-12 two years ago... we were better than that.

OK you just cant compare anything those two have done, its like comparing Corky from Life Goes On to Doogie Howser M.D.

glad the wanny era is over.

No doubt. I was watching Marino on SportsCentury this morning. They got to the part where Marino wanted to play one more year - but Wanny wanted to go in a different direction. One more thing to lay at his doorstep...

That's why I don't know why people were getting all worked up about giving up a sixth (or possibly fifth) round pick for Harrington. Heck we gave up a second for a third string QB that never amounted to anything. Now we gave up a late round pick for the guy that kept Feeley on the pine at Oregon. Gotta love it!!
