Compensation for Spielman

If Miami hires a GM other than Spielman and Rick decides to head to Detroit to serve as their new GM, would any compensation have to be given to Miami? Rick is still under contract with the Dolphins, and he is not the GM here. He wouldn't have to be fired and replaced by the new Miami GM. Just wishful thinking, maybe a late Day 1 or early Day 2 picK?

Speilman won't require compensation because he'll be taking a higher job (aka..a promotion). You could ask for compensation, but it won't happen. Wayne will let him go out and grab a better opportunity. Classy thing to do.

It would be a promotion, so no compensation would be involved.

And Detroit is just sitting waiting and drooling to see what Wayne is gonna do, before they fire Millen. With Spielman and Marriucci Detroit improves a lot quicker over the next few years.
