It was not widely reported but we recieved ZERO compensation for the second year in a row. I dont get it. We loose todd wade and morlon greenwood both starting safties. our starting fb and fiedler and we dont even get a 7th round pick??? let me guess the pats got a bunch of 3rd rounders again

Well two years ago we lost Wade and signed Damion Mcintosh, Jeno James, John ST Clair and Reggie Howard. Last year we lost Morlon greenwood and signed Donnie Spragen, Stocker McDougle and Tavares Tillman. We really have not lost any major guys to free agency without signing other free agents. The year before we really did not deserve any and this year is somewhat debateable especially since Frerotte is also included and he did start all 16 games. Some people dont understand that players that are cut are not included.

The NFL is like so totally against us! And they luv the Pats! ITS BS!! AHHH!!!

The Pats still getting thier reparations for the NFL rookie flag football game that Robert Edwards got injured.

You shouldn't get compensatory picks for guys you didn't offer a contract. The Eagles and Pats learned to let a guy go and get a pick, kind of brilliant they get cap relief and then get a nice pick.
I think it is bogus, they should have to at least make on offer to keep thier guy.

When you cut guys it doesn't count for compensation. only when their contracts run out. And then they must be signed to a big contract in a different team AND perform well....

But,as the Dolphins draft better from now on,they too will let expensive non-star players go. They will then replace them with younger players that they already had drafted and get compensated with extra picks. Another good thing do to not having dumb and dumber no longer running the team.

The rule for comp. pics is that when you lose a player and they get alot of starts and playing time. Then you can get some picks. Last year we lost guys like Wade and Fiedler, but the didn't make an impact on another team. So we got no picks. The highest comp. pick this year went to the jets for losing Lamont Jordan. That's because he started at RB for the Raiders all last year.

How are the Redskins getting picks, and we're not? Daunte was a trade...They had all huge FA signings...Maybe its because thier management stinks, and they overpaid.

What a wasted thread! You guys can't really believe the NFL is going to be biased on comps do you? I doubt Huizenga would allow that!
