Complete 53 man roster on NFL.com check it out.

I still don't know why Spittler made it. He showed absolutely nothing in the preseason. Miami should have kept in his place either Will Allen or Spears. Allen should have made it for his skills and the fact with the league moving to a passing style having 6 CB's would have been more valuable than keeping Spittler.
 
No will allen after that last game is stupid IMO, unless u want to develop the younger guys. Allen can play any spot on the field and can blitz. But if they see more upside in carroll, then fine, but idn.

allen has been injured for what, 2 years now? even if he was impressive in preseason, he has proven to be injury prone. Glad we cut ties wit him finally.
 
Well that is NOT going to be the 53 man roster when our Sept. 12 game rolls around. I expect we'll do like usual and cut 3 players and sign 3 players who were cut by other teams.

That is kind of the point. They IR'ed him last year. Waited for him. Waited again during the summer and FINALLY he gets in and plays well.

THEN they cut him. Should have done it at the end of the summer in 2010.
 
Mostly happy with it.. I was pretty pissed around this time last year. Would've liked to keep Allen and Spears though. But hey, can never be completely happy with this stuff.

I really hope we continue to search for another TE.. Mastrud as the 2nd TE, please..

(preferably a TE that isn't fat and slow.. I know the FO loves those guys)

And if they think that they are going to "wait the week" and pick him up cheaper next week...I hope he tells them to "pack sand"...
 
I think it was a bad sign for Spears when he didn't get a lot of playing time in the last game. Hopefully we still get him on the P.S.

Without a doubt...with Murtha on IR we only have 3 tackles right now. That won't last...so, someone like spitler will make room for a shiny new tackle we will get...hopefully better than the crap we have now...
