Spitler proved he belonged by playing with the bloody nose.I think he was dinged up during the preseason but shows toughness.

Spitler won't make the team, he will be cut before Week #1 when the Fins sign a few cuts from other teams.
They are short a RB, TE, and T. They have too many LB's and WR's, so expect Spitler or Mitchell (or both) gone, and one of the WR's (Wallace or Gates). They should sign an experienced RB, experienced TE, and a good T. One would think anyway.

Not too crazy in a 3-4. Wake and Taylor will probably see some time and down linemen too.
Gates isn't going anywhere. He was a 4th round pick and has shown he can take the top off of defenses. I think they like Wallace too. Moore is the 6th WR. If anyone goes it will be Moore. I think we may keep 6 WR for a bit at least though.
