I would have also liked to have seen Fields make the team over Merling...Kearse and Fields I thought have both looked good. (Fields held his own against a lot of double-teams...)
 
I can't believe they got rid of Allen and Polite. Polite was money on Down and 1 opportunities! Not to mention he was a great run blocker. Too bad, wish him well though. I hope he winds up outside the AFC East though!

imo if we do suck we are going to do it putting the ball down field and not trying to do it on 3rd and 25 or 3rd and 40 and running it trying to get a first down we are going to put the ball in the AIR so we should be alot more exciting this year
 
How did Polite all the sudden become good at run blocking? Sure, he was very good in short yardage for us but he was a mediocre (at best) run blocker.
 
I guess Polite is kind of a surprise, but then again he was basically on the team for 1 yard situations. And if you cant get one yard with any other back, you're pretty pathetic anyway. I liked him, it was cool to have that kind of popular diesel type player - But I'll let the Phins slide on this one. I ripped them when they cut Fred Beasley years ago. If Clay ends up being the next Boomer Grigsby in regular season action, then I'll rip the Phins, but until then - The F.O. knows best!

serious?! You arent studying these guys like our coaches..and they have a lot on the line. I dont think they are in the business to keep scrubs. you are an idiot.

leaves me to believe they have some new guys they want to bring in

That's true but there's about 24 guys on the 53 that didn't make ANY plays the entire pre-season.

I literally would trust 20 members of this board to run the draft and build the roster more than I trust Ireland and Sparano.
