FA-Jason Brown C from Baltimore-Would anchor the center postion for years

Chris Johnson CB from Oakland-A very under rated corner because he was on a bad team and played opposite of one of the best in the game. He is 6-1 and 200lbs. He would also come at a good price.

JJ Arington RB from Arizona-Explosive reciever out of the backfield and good return guy.

Darren Sharper FS from Minnesota-Sign him to a 1 year deal for added leadership

Cameron Wake OLB from CFL-Already signed to a 4year deal

Resignings-Vernon Carey, Andre Goodman, Yerimiah Bell, Al Johnson

Draft-1st Larry English OLB-Northern Illionsis
2nd Alphonso Smith CB-Wake Forest (wishful thinking here)
2nd Kenny Britt WR-Rutgers
3rd William Moore S-Missouri (falls with bad Senior Bowl and drills)
4th Tyrone Green G-Auburn
5th Jasper Brinkley ILB-South Carolina
7th Frantz Joseph ILB-Florida Atlantic
7th Sammie Hill DT-Stillman
7th Dane Randolph OT-Maryland

Lose-Channing Crowder, Quinton Moses, Ernest Wilford, Renaldo Hill

I know many here think we should draft a few O-lineman early, but with Donald Thomas coming back from injury and signing Jason Brown to play Center I think we would be ready to go.

I think Parcells goes heavy on LB's this year in hopes of getting 4 future starters in one year.

is he? do you know that for certain? lets say he does, and gets hurt again...what then? i feel it's best if we grab ourselves a few OL in the upper rounds of the draft...and some big mean nasty roadgrading maulers at that...

I like the draft alot. I owuld rather have Sintim with the 1st if hes there. And with the 4th round pick I like Mark Parson, Dominique Johnson, Keenen Lewis ,Scott McKillop, or Jason Phillips. I just do not care for Appleby that high as he should be there in the 6th or 7th round. And with Brinkley injury I like OT Joel Bell, LB-Lawerence Sidbury , CB- Joe Burnett or WR- Brandon Gibson in the 5th. And with the 7th pick instead of Randolph I like Maurice Evans, Andrew Hartline, or Josh Mauga.

With your signings and
Sintim
SMith
Britt
Moore
Mark Parson/Scott McKillop
Joel Bell/Jason Phillips
Frantz Joseph
Sammie Lee Hill
Maurice Evans/Hartline

We would have a great draft. I really would love to see us take Moore. I would take him with our 2nd round pick if he is there. I dont think he lasts till the 5th. And Sammie Lee Hill is a guy I like. He is a small scholl guy but you cant teach size. And he has plenty. Frantz Joseph is another guy under the radar as he is from FLA ATL. But has a monster year.

Sammie Lee Hill isn't getting anywhere near the seventh round and could go as high as the third round. Raw and unproven as he may be how many 320 lbs. guys run sub 5.0 forties?

johnson from Oak is a FA? i wasnt aware of this. that kid played very damn good ball towards the end.

Yes, he is a FA. I think needing a bigger corner he would be a much better choice then drafting one early and hoping they turn out to be good. But I still would l;ike to see us somehow draft Alphonso Smith though.

I understood Thomas is already 100% ready to go and it's Smiley that we'll have no idea how well he recovers from his pretty bad injury.

Signing Brown pushes Satele to backup duty for both C and G, we just need to draft or sign a FA for OT depth. Really that should take care of the Oline as long as Carey gets re-signed.

If Robinson is available say at our 2a pick then that might be to good to pass up though.

Think you are the 1st person as far as I know to put Frantz Joseph from Florida Atlantic in your mock. For a guy that has had a very good season spending a 7th rounder on him would be a good move.

if he is,and can stay healthy,as well as reclaim that starting Guard spot he was forced to relinquish due to getting hurt, then effin fantastic...we just need to have a quality backup for him...as far as Smiley's concerned...what're the chances of him being able to come back from his broken&shredded leg? we still need to address the interior of our OL,as well as either resign Carey,or draft a starting caliber RT...i just want our OL to be straight DOMINATING ROADGRADING MAULING NASTY ANIMALISTIC BEASTS out there on the field...and we have a FANTASTIC cornerstone in Jake Long to build that off of...

I just think it's ridiculous that you have us spending 3 draft picks on the ILB position. One or two is good enough man. Oh, and JJ Arrington sucks. Cobbs is much better and we already have Ginn for returns, so there's no need to sign him. The others are good though.

I agree 1000%, a freakin' awesome Oline will help Penny out and then make Henne's eventual transition easier. I just think adding Brown improves our depth with Satele now the first reserve.
If by draft day Smiley is not looking like he's recovering well then Robinson, Levitre and Urbik become big time needs. Or we could could go with the best available OT and move Carey inside.

The reason I have us drafting so many LB's is because Joey Porter isn't gonna be here that much longer (1 or 2 yrs), Matt Roth is a FA after this year, Akin Adoyle and Reggie Torbor are just average players, and Channing Crowder seems to be on his way out. Obviously things would change if we resigned Channing.

My vision has the Dolphins future starting linbacking core looking like this:

Larry English WOLB, Frantz Joseph ILB, Jasper Brinkley ILB, Cameron Wake SOLB. With Antonio Appleby, William Kershaw and Charlie Anderson being our primary back-ups and situational players. I also think Appleby and Anderson are good enough to start which is just an extra bonus should someone get injured. Defense wins Championships!!

I like your enthousiasm about him, but he is not getting drafted in the 3rd round either. I will split the difference with you and go 5th round. My ealier mock I had him going 5th round. It's just wishful thinking in the 7th round.
