This was a great road win against a tough division rival. We played quality football in all 3 phases. Our punter kept the Jets buried deep all day, the defense bailed out the offense after the fumble and the offense finally got the lead early and held on to win. Complimentery Football!!

Ryan still looks rusty to me. He is simply not playing fast. He's a half a tick behind or something. There were 3 or 4 times today where he needed to get his feet moving because pressure was coming. In I believe every case, RT could have thrown the ball away instead of taking the sack. Having said that he won the game for us when he had to, but he did it with his legs. He had a couple of beautiful runs that picked up key first downs late in the game to ice it. He should have hit Wilson, who was wide open, to ice it but it was an over throw. RT had some great throws such as the laser to Derby for the TD. All in all RT was uneven but he got us the win on the road and we're 2-0 and we BEAT THE JETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How mad are you going to be at me if I point out that in this usage, it should be spelled 'complementary?' :chuckle:

I agree, though. I liked the way the special teams played today. Offense scoring on turnovers was also critical.

Ryan just mentioned "complementary football" in his presser (and looking pretty dapper in a suit!)

It's worth pointing out because we rarely have such a complete game. This offense needs some work. We need to do better in the second half.

That was one of the worst passing games I've seen Tanny play in a while. Feeling pretty good about getting a win off of that because I know he will play much better .

Most importantly, big props to Ted Larsen. Though it was going to implode without Sitton but the line played very well today overall.
