Just read somewhere that there's estimated to be at least 20,000 pats fan attending the game Sunday because our season ticket holders are dumping tickets off in preparation of the holiday season? WTF? Maybe I'm blinded because of my roots but I live in Philly and I can assure you that this would never happen during any Eagles home game regardless of the state of their franchise and ESPECIALLY not to a division rival in arguably the most important game of the year. What has happened to this fan base? How is it acceptable to allow the opposing teams fans to constantly litter our stadium? I understand the demographics and how the state of Florida inherits transplants from all parts of the country...but its almost embarassing to hear numbers like that. I am constantly told stories about how the Orange Bowl used to jump on gamedays. I sure hope the ole addage "winning cures all" is true in this case

Just once I would like this team to feel like they actually have a home field advantage. South Florida fans are the worst. And for those who are gonna jump on my ass about not going to the game because the Fins are irrelevant well they can eat a dick because that is no longer the case. Fair weather fans make me sick. Suck it up, enjoy the goddamn warm weather because the rest of the country is freezing its ass off and support your team.

BTW, your argument of why don't you go to a game doesn't hold water either because I go to a home game every year, am going to the Jets game this year and I live in ****ing MN.

True^^^^^ but we aren't your average fans. I flew to see the Fins twice this year, and I'm in California. I do think winning will get "casual" fans more into the Fins. But I highly doubt anyone on this forum that lives in South Florida isn't going to the game on Sunday. Wait... any Miami residents even on this FORUM??? oh yeah...that's the problem.

Don't criticize local Miami fans, they don't like it. Hurts their feelings and they obviously know best.

It might be a division game late in the year with the playoffs on the line, but it is supposed to be a beautiful day and might be the only chance to get to the beach or go shopping.

What's new? Such a joke...

Let's just hope Tanne can resurrect this franchise and bring the fair weather fans out of their caves to support their team. I wish I could attend, I would attend every game I could, but alas.. I live in Hell.

you live in Texas too?

Why do we have the weirdest fan base of all time? Our fan base is literally national but most of us are from other places than Miami. How did this happen? I do like that we are the NFL's fifth column and we have the secret Dolphin handshake thing but seriously how does the Phins at home aren't at home?

Demographics. Plus, South Florida is a wonderful, wonderful place during the winter, and it's really no surprise that people from the cold weather ****holes up north can't wait to get down here.

This is basically your answer. BTW said it in another thread it will be like 40% Pats fans (based on prior experience IMO). We already have a bunch of threads on fans here and why they will not go/cannot go to games. If the team turns things around and starts to win more consistently they will come. Period. I am not saying that is the way it should be, there are fans that will go in good times and bad, like myself but there are not enough of them to pack our stadium each week.

It looks like we're guaranteed another thread blaming the fans if they lose.
