For those that missed the heart attack inducing game yesterday, the NFL YouTube channel just posted the condensed 4th quarter and overtime footage from the game.
Albert Wilson is ridiculous. The play at the 7:05 min mark is just ludicrous... And this was a player KC felt they didn't need and are still dominating on O like they are? Could you imagine that offense with Wilson still there? Wooooooo.
For all the love Brock got for this game, and don't get me wrong, he played well overall despite 2 INTs, one of which was absolutely horrid, he was still the beneficiary of some very lucky bounces.
At the end of the 4th quarter, he got the ball at midfield and squandered it with a few short passes which ended in a punt. I believe some of that was play-calling, but he had the opportunity to win the game right there with a few plays to move the chains and failed...
Then there was THIS THROW (Click) which was about the luckiest bounce a QB can get in a situation like that. In OT, 3rd and long on your own side of the field, he makes a throw that could have easily been intercepted had the defender looked back but instead bounces off the back of his head and in the waiting arms of Stills who was not the intended receiver on the play. Had that play never happened we are very likely looking at a different result.
Winning cures everything. I'm really trying to take one game at a time. Too many times I get too high after a win or too low after a loss. We have two huge games coming up but one game at a time for me.
