You aren't gonna see many bad decisions from that qb...he just doesn't make them...that's one of the things I love about him...balls never into triple coverage for a wtf type decision...he just Needs to clean up a few things...

I'm telling you right now this offense is legit...and we will score points...if we stay healthy...you can put me down for that...Miami is going to hang big numbers on people this year

thats always been and is really his only problem; accuracy. and it hasnt changed a bit since day 1. its the only concern ive ever had with him. he just isnt consistently accurate and the great qbs in this league are.

Really? My concern with Tannehill has been that I think he tends to have games where he has multiple "wtf" moments... bad decisions, either pressing it or just not seeing it. The multiple TO games.
 
He has plenty of stupid moments and also moments where you question his accuracy. He threw behind receivers multiple times this game... I actually blame him for the Wallace fumble early on. I rarely see tanny throw wrs open. And don't get me started on his deep throws...But for the most part he's mature and very poised in the pocket, which is really convincing given his youth.

yeah those things get fixed with experience. you expect that from young qbs and i think relative to the rest of the young qbs in the league RT makes less mistakes and has fewer of those moments. the problem is if/when he corrects those things he's still going to be an inaccurate passer.
 
Okay I never realized just how dominant Moreno was. My god what a great signing.
 
Thanks again man, just rewatching the 1st half...Ellerbe was moving like pond water out there. No motor whatsoever! Chris McCain is a physical freak but needs some time to develop, and Jelani Jenkins balled out, the kid flat out killed it!
 
Watching this (mostly the 2nd half, the first half was too hard to watch for me) I am even more excited about this offense than I was throughout the offseason. I didn't even realize how many missed opportunities we had. Another thing... I have no worries that Tannehill will excel in this offense. In the second half, it was refreshing to watch him go through his reads and make the best decisions (it would have helped if some of our receivers caught some of those passes). Oh man! I'm praying we can stay healthy for the most part (which isn't looking good on the defensive side as of right now) because if we do... PLAYOFFS BABY! :clap::thumbup:
 
Ellerby looked like he was running in slow motion. He waited for the RB to come to him. He was not missed in that game.

Also on Tannehills INT, I didn't realize the first time I watched it that Wallace was not the primary read, and that Tannehill didn't get a chance to step into his throw, as he got nailed when he released it. That probably accounts for the inaccuracy/underthrow.

I think he got the pass off before he was hit, but I do think the pressure caused him to rush the throw and impacted his accuracy.

On the Moreno TD drive, there was another bad missed PI where Chung face guarded Hartline to the corner and turned his head around after the ball was incomplete.

The LaFell trucking Jimmy penalty also looks worse when you see that he didn't even pretend to run a route.
