Me too. But i'll let you guys do the rooting for it. If the team starts playing great (BIG if) and wins the last few games against the Pats and Jets but still finishes 5 - 11 with the 6th pick I can live with that also.

well hears the thing. im not actually rooting vs the fins, i just really dont get upset for like a few days when they lose- or a week depending how bad the loss is anymore this year because i am numbed to it.

that being said, in reference to your being able to live with 5-11 and 6th pick? in every other year? sure, why not, the difference in talent from the 1st -6th overall pick is usually not that significant. However, Andrew luck is way above everyone else, and the only way we are getting this guy is with the 1st overall pick. so yes, in many years i could live with the 6th pick and 5-11. this year? hell no. luck or bust.

i wish we could be talking playoffs now in week 7, but unfortunately, this seem just decides to blow every year so this is what we have to talk about.

I think it's just a case of the conflict most Fins fans are going through right now.

We want the Fins to win every game.

That's why we're fans in the first place. It feels good to win.

But when we not only lose but we totally suck, like most games this year, it lessens the pain to say, "hey, we've still got Suck For Luck going for us!"

So I think it makes sense when the same people jump on the SFL bandwagon but continue to ***** about us losing. We're conflicted!

The way the Dolphins play good or bad has no effect on my ego. I still look forward to the team playing better next week and winning. If they don't and get a high pick I can live will that also.

I hear ya. The timing is a *****. Only the very worse of the bad teams will get him. Race to the bottom I guess. If this team would win a few games this whole conversation will become mute.

For me, I'm not cheering for them to lose, but I want Andrew Luck. Part of me is relieved after a loss, but during the game I just get upset that we're a laughing stock. We used to be a relevant, proud franchise. I want that back. If I have to sit through a 1-15 season to get that starting in 2012? Then so be it, i'll suck it up and move on in January when we have a new coaching staff.

I'm 99% sure Luck goes into the draft. He said today on Rome that he didn't in 2011 because he wanted his degree and he wanted to finish with the teammates he came in with. He's getting his degree, and his fellow teammates he came in with are also graduating.

I know you wanted to run on the field and tackle Revis. I did.

There's always "Suck For Barkley" lol. Seriously, most of us just want to get better. Did you see the stat on MNF about all of the qbs that have been involved in this endless comedy of errors since Marino? It's sad and disheartening man. I don't sit in front of the television and cheer against the team I love by any means, but if we go 1-15 and Luck is the consolation prize then to me personally it was all worth it. So in theory yeah I guess I support "Suck For Luck/Barkley/Jones"

Also I find myself in a different dilemma. When revis picked it I just laughed. Then I was mad about the non PI call but when do we ever get that call? Its not worth getting mad. I'm just letting things fall and laughing when things go to hell.
