PFT says they have confirmed it? I'm not a fan of drafting Harvin in the first, but what is their source? Are they reliable enough that we are just to take anything they say like this as a fact?
Ian Johnson with our 5th could probably be just as an effective NFL player anyway.
Johnson has similiar talents and is a little bigger and way,way smarter than Harvin.
Both are fast,nimble, Reggie Bush types with great hands. Both are decent KR's.
Why spend a 2nd on a pothead when you can get a high IQ team leader type for 5th or 6th?????

you seriously have to question Harvin's IQ though. everyone knew there were going to be drug tests at the Combine. i guess you wouldn't show up drunk for a job interview either. i sure wouldn't.

He also tested positive for illiteracy... I have no ethical problems with people who smoke marijuana but this shows a complete lack of discipline. If normal people can stay clean before a standard employment drug test, why can't he stay clean when he has millions of dollars on the line? As phenomenal of an athlete as he is I would never draft someone like him because he isn't going to be coachable.
