Congrats from a Pats fan.

I don't normally do this, but I just wanted to say that as a long-time fan of Chad Pennington I was able to find some joy in the Jets loss yesterday in the fact that Pennington outplayed and outshined a guy in Favre who gets way too much credit for his overall career stats despite having extremely mediocre per game stats.

Also I hope that Sparano nets the COTY award and that his work and achievements there aren't overshadowed by Parcells.

Can't say I'm going to be rooting for you guys, rivalries being what they are (I've been a Pats fan since I was 10 back in 1985) but I definitely think it is awesome that Chad was able to get into the playoffs by beating his ex-team.
 
Admit it...were you cheering for the Jets? Were you a Jets fan yesterday?
 
Yeah I was pulling for the Jets bigtime, for once in my life. But, what are you going to do, the Pats had a heck of a season all things given, they just didn't do enough. Having to look to other teams for help always sucks.
 
The Pats did have a good season. And I'll agree it's a shame that a time with 11-5 doesn't make the playoffs. But, you guys have been winning so much lately, that I'm really glad we're the ones that finished both the Pats and Jets on the same day. It has really been an unbelieveable season for us. I think I would also be happy for Pennington even if I wasn't a Dolphin fan. He's always been a class act, even when he was killing us. It is nice to talk with a Pats fan that isn't just talking smack. I think we both understand that we're fans of our respective teams and enjoy seeing our bitter rivals struggle. But that doesn't mean we can't converse intelligently with each other.
 
Thank you, the Pats had a good season too is very unfortunately that a team like San Diego with a record of 8-8 has a good change to go deep in the playoffs and a team with 11 victories is going to watch the playoffs from home.

Nothing personal but I'm happy to see one yard catcher Walker at home, I can catch a 100 passes every year if you throw thew ball at me after running 1 yard only :sidelol:.
 
thank you..the pats had a great year considering they had so many injuries..losing brady and going with cassel, who hasn't played since high school..11-5 might have been belichek's best coaching job yet..you should be proud of this season even though you guys didn't make the playoffs..you guys will definitely be back next year..

Like I said before, I'm glad the Pats are out cause they would have been scary as usual in the playoffs. Your team doesn't miss a beat do they??
 
Thanks for the post, it's unfortunate the Patriots had to be left out of the playoffs with such a good record...
 
Wish i could be as classy but you, but i CANNOT stand the pats. Really it made the victory that much sweeter that we knocked you out... Nothing personal, I just hate the pats organization.
 
Look at us all rush to thank the gracious pats fan. Ridiculous. Watching patsies fans scratch out their small thoughts fills me with disgust and hatred. You want me to give a damn about your congratulations become a fan of a less corrupt team. Kicking you out of the playoffs was sweet.

Thanks man. The Pats had a good season, but not quite good enough. I personally think it stinks that an 8-8 division winner makes the playoffs over an 11-5 team, but those are the rules and everyone knows that going in.

they need to find a way to revamp the playoffs..im not sure how u do it but that is not right, 11-5 and no playoffs it felt bad when the phins were 10-6 and didnt make it but wow finishing 11-5 and not getting it would make me sick to my stomach
