Just wanted to pop in here and let you guys know you got one hell of a football player today in Calvin Pace.

The guy is a natural 3-4OLB who was drafted into the wrong scheme/position and stuck there for 4 years by the idiots known as Cardinal management. Whisenhunt came in this year and had our DC move him to OLB where he flourished. The man racked up 98 tackles and 6.5 sacks, while being our most consistant and healthy defender.

This guy is eerily reminiscent of a young Adalius Thomas, good luck with him.

have you heard anything on your end? a lot of us are still trying to figure out if he is a dolphin yet or not

i hope he is, he was THE guy i wanted in the offseason

Currently there are conflicting reports that we have indeed signed Pace or not. I hoping we have and he doesn't make the flight to NY. Pace is the perfect mold for a 3-4 defensive alignment and would further add to the recent FA class Parcells and Co. are working on.

Love your avatar--he must have brought that playbook to Miami from the B'lo, 'cause he really screwed our offense as well. If he keeps up his "reverse mobility", Mularkey will be coaching a pee wee team before you know it!

Snowing up here in the North East tonight maybe it will cause Pace to have a flight to NY postponed giving he and the Dolphins time to hammer out a signing bonus number and he never leaves Davie...

Do us a favor and call Mike Jurecki and see what he knows. Then let us know. Mike always seems to have a handle on the Cardinal players.

SI.com's Bucky Brooks reports the Dolphins have signed free agent LB Calvin Pace to a contract that will guarantee him over $20 million.

Brooks could be dead on here, but we're going to wait before assuming this is done until we hear it from one of the teams. Pace indicated to the Miami Herald late Friday that he wanted to visit the Jets before signing a deal.

Or maybe he will think hmm stay in nice warm sunny Miami or go to cold snowy New York. I'd pick Miami 7 days a week. :)

I wish he would just put his dam name on the dotted line already!! Ahh this is making me insane.

I just hope he doesnt sign with the Jets when i wake up tommrow i want to see his name with the dolphins
