I know this is late, but, congrats on the win, in the 2000 season we (LSU) were coming off an dreadful year and we had high expectations (winning season and some type of bowl). Once the team started to believe in his system and coaches it kindoff snowballed. Sure we still had our ups and down (UAB), but the next week came back to beat Tenn. You will have your ups and downs, but, more of the former and less of the latter. The season is a long one and CNS will always downplay "the big games" - his theory is that if you win the big game (division) and loose the next game what have you accomplished?

That all being said, congrats, celebrate it for 24 hours and move on to the next week (victim).
FWIW - it still kind off hurts to see CNS in anything other than purple and gold.

I go to LSU. I'm a big Tiger fan too.

And I'll be there for the Dolphins/Saints game on Oct. 30th. I'm getting together a big tailgate party for Dolphins nation to come to BR!!

CNS-Coach Nick Saban

and hes obviously a hardcore LSU fan or player. giving a perspective of how saban treated the season for the tigers in 2000, which was apparently comparable to the season we're facing right now.
