It's a win, doesn't matter how you get them you just need to find a way to win and you guys did that. Good teams find ways to win, bad ones find ways to lose and although both played bad last night you guys actually have a good team.

I'll save my negative thoughts on your team for another day(I don't have enough time to discuss all of my teams negatives but I'll try at some point too). Just enjoy the win and good luck next week in a game that will likely determine whether you make the playoffs or not.
 
Thanks bro. I'm really not looking forward to our rematch. In fact, I never look forward to facing you guys. These games are always a grudge match.

P.S. Do you think the Geno experiment is over? I'm curious to see if the Jets (or Bills for that matter) make a play for RG3. I don't like the prospect of facing him in your offense.
 
It was an ugly win and the jets took it to us. Only reason your team lose was the QB play. You still have a good defense and you guys ran the ball on our defense. With a good QB you guys could be right in the middle of things.
 
Thanks NYJUNC...we will take it...still confused as to whether rex was showing "vicious compliance" against upper management with his offensive game plan by using Geno but not allowing the OC to call any passing plays...or what the line of thinking was..

If that was the mindset shame on him for showing his ass that way. No respect for that childish mentality....some fin fans would like him as our DC but the insolence and contempt he shows is damaging to the overall "team" concept and disrespectful. You may win over a handful of players but eventually it wears thin and costs you a locker room by dividing the team as a whole imo.

Nonetheless we won a game we needed to win against a divisional foe on the road with a possible playoff birth on the line....we live to fight again
 
NY, why do you think the Jets hardly passed? Do you think there is no trust in Geno? Or do you believe Rex that they saw a weakness in our run defense and chose to exploit it?
 
Not sure why they didn't really give Geno a chance to throw just a little more - play action etc. Miami had to try everything to shut the run down including bringing Jones up and we had a new corner playing. He was moving them on that last drive through the air.

I think we will have packed it in by week 17.

yes I think the Geno experiment is over, not sure about RG III. I hope not. I'd rather make a play on Bradford, he'll come cheap and while risky could have a high upside.

I think they didn't throw to stick it to Idzik. Rex and Marty wanted Vick to start.
 
Geno threw the ball 13 times and still threw a pick.
 
Very glad the Dolphins won and will continue to be in the playoff hunt going forward. I am also usually not the kind of person who complains after winning games, but last night's performance from the Dolphins can't happen again going forward. We are not going to be able to beat the good teams if we are struggling against bad teams. I understand it is a road game, division game, etc., but the Jets are a BAD football team. I expected a blowout win for the Dolphins, like a 20+ point victory.

Still very happy for the W, but we need to get our act together with the Ravens and Patriots coming up.

Bob Poppa and Amani Toomer both seem to think Idzik made Rex start Geno and rex responded by giving Idzik a big FU and running the ball 49 times and giving Geno only 13 pass attempts.
 
Ya thanks for showing up here today. You always do tho, win or lose and that takes a lot. Tough game last night, especially for you being there. You guys coulda easily pulled it off, but thankfully for us, you didn't :up:
 
With how the jets defensive line helped to control the game, I hope Mohammad's toe keeps him shelved for week 17
