I'd really be on the verge of depression of Drew Brees won the Super Bowl. First, passing over him once in the NFL draft and selecting Eddie Bleeping Moore of all people, and then passing over him in free agency and selecting Daunte Culpepper who's obviously no longer on our team. I realize that hindsight is 20-20 but us not getting him, especially the second time around, set us back a few years. For him to win a Super Bowl in Miami in our own stadium would really be a kick in the nuts...anyone agree with me?

Yeah but had we signed Brees instead of Culpooper, you never know if Brees would be the QB he is now....we haven't had many great WR's the last 4-5 years. But clearly not offering Brees a little more money to come to Miami was mistake considering all the picks we have used trying to get a franchise QB. Hindsight is 20/20 though.

If you're going to be depressed should Brees win the superbowl, you really need to get your life in check.

Be happy for the guy. I am. Wannstedt should be the depressed one.

Thing about a guy like Brees is he will instantly upgrade the receivers because he is such a good passer. When he arrived in NO, he had no receivers there either, yet led them to the playoffs anyway in his first season.

It was a joke dude. :rolleyes2: C'mon, just trying to get the point across that we passed over a great QB. I'll shut up now.

I don't really care one way or the other. All I know is after spending a year down there and having a coworker shot down like a dog in the street of that ****ing cesspool, I could not give a **** less if that ****heap of a city floated into the Gulf and was never seen again.
