Congrats to the loyal fans who have sat with me year after year and through heartbreak after heartbreak. To all those of you that sold your tickets to Steeler fans when we were 1-4 or those sitting around me going on and on about how bad this franchise is do not show up Sunday. Give your tickets to the fans who have truly supported this team no matter what.

Loyal since the day I was born. The first game this season made me cry as it was my first without dad and to lose in heartbreaking fashion. Tonight I had tears of joy, though a little sad, that dad would have loved this run but it is hard because he isn't here for it. My loyalty comes from him. We touched out a lot of lean years to get back to this position.
 
I just wish all the season ticket holders could get a home playoff game because they deserve it. I'm being greedy, I know, shut up and enjoy the ride :lol:

I have no doubt your dad is looking down and enjoying the ride right along with us Heis. And I'm sure, that just like the rest of us, he's up there celebrating tonight.

I want to say I've been holding back a tear after the events of tonight, but, reading this made the seal break my fellow Dolfan. As a lifelong fan myself that hasn't been around to see the amazing years of the 70's and the electric 80's I haven't had too many opportunities to feel this proud of my team, I'll be here through thick and thin, you will too, and I'm sure your dad will as well.

Maybe your dad has a little something to do with this run. There's been a lot of fortune for Miami on top of the hard work.
 
43 years. I was 7 when Miami beat the vikings in the SB. Been a fan ever since
 
Been a fan since their first super bowl. I just wonder how many posters who said they were done with this team, NEVER to return, are back now? A good poll question?
 
I became a fan during our 1-15 season. What a great way to start watching Phins football lmao!
