Ealier this year I had made the decision to stop posting on this site. I was frustrated at all the crap that John Beck got from some of you, and he was the primary reason I started following the fins. You may also recall that I am a Raider fan first and foremost. I was once mocked because I said I would trade you straight up, Beck for Russel. I would still make this trade anyday, by the way! Anyway, despite my frustration over the criticism of Beck and despite the fact that I still feel he got the shaft here in Miami, for some reason, I still found enjoyment out of following the Fins this year. I don't know why, but I have kind of adopted them as my second favorite team. You can say all you want about me being a Raider fan, but I can't just give up on them because they stink, or because their owner is an idiot! Nevertheless, I am very happy for the Fins and despite my feelings about how Beck has been treated (I still believe he could make it, given the right circumstances), I wish you guys the very best this weekend and throughout the playoffs.

Pennington has proven to be the right fit for this team at this time and I think he has a ton to prove this weekend. Some of your wins have been ugly, but you have been able to grind it out when it has mattered most. I believe you will manhandle the Jets this weekend and I really think you have a shot at making it to the AFC championship game, as long as you don't have to play Indy. While I'd love to see you in the Superbowl, I think it will be a showdown between the Manning Brothers this year.

At any rate, congrats on a fantastic year! You guys certainly deserve it based on how much you have suffered over the years. Go Phins!
 
It has been an interesting year and hopefully we play even better next season since we'll have to with our tougher schedule. This team is on the rise and the nfl will fear us in a couple years.
 
Thanks for the kind words buddy, don't worry I dont think you will have to worry about al davis a whole lot longer he is looking pretty rough these days.
 
I respect this thread the most because of you saying " i cant give up on the raiders cuz of ****ty seasons and a ****ty owner" or w/e the quote was. That right there makes a real fan. so fight on brother, and i hope your raiders do find success one day, whether it be soon or later.
 
We know what it is like having a losing team. Thanks for the props and good luck to you in the future. The Raidahs will return to glory - someday - just have to get a new owner.
 
Hey man, you had better be careful. I sense that pull towards the fins! I know you are still hanging on to the Raiders, but might be a conversion experience in your future. But, if not, we appreciate your support as a second team.
 
how was john beck treated. imo he was given many chances to be the guy and just didnt play well enough
