Congratulations from a Titans fan

I haven't taken the time to evaluate your forum's reaction to the news of Jeff Fisher becoming the coach of the St.Louis Rams but I'll tell you how you should feel.

Ecstatic.

Take it from me, a diehard Titans fan. The man was incredible at two things. Manipulating the media into conning fans by writing glowing articles about his 8-8 seaons and losing important games when the team managed to do better than 8-8. The Fish hasn't won a playoff game in eight years. The guy sucks and is a slimeball.

Toast to you Dolphin fans for dodging this bullet.

IM NOT GOING TO SIT HERE AND TAKE NO SIDES FOR NOBODY . i live here in Tenn about 2 hours from the titans stadium and i see alot of games from them jeff Fishers hands was tied MR Adams had fishers hands both tied behind him he had to do what Bud wanted him to do thats why he didnt want to take the Miami job without some control over personnel and i cant blame him for the way he got treated in Tenn. as far as being a good football coach i think hes right there with the top coaches in the league just wait and see what im saying ,he makes good decisions when let to do so ,and is a very smart coach . but i dont have to sit here and tell you guys about him anymore because we all will get to see what hes made of but for anybody that says hes not a good coach is only lieing to themselves or just dont know football or just dont know Fisher because ive seen enough that i know he will be very productive in st louis as he would have been here.but imo if we want a coach to come to Miami Ross is going to have to let whoever have there own personnel involvments and make there own decisions and if not ,i just dont know if we will be getting a coach ,because ive never really heard of hireing a head coach and haveing the GM to coach the headcoach or make his decisions .

Brother.

You use less periods than a lady after Menopause. I almost blacked out from lack of oxygen trying to read this.

Jeff Fisher, might be the most over=hyped Coach in...well, forever. I actually think it has alot to do with his personality. He's one of those guys you can't help but to pull for....but truth is, he just has never been a great coach.

Good? Yes.
Better than anybody we have had since? Jimmy? Sure.

Worth hooking the entire wagon up to? No way!!!

Ridiculous. I can see you've been brainwashed with the same junk the media has put out for years on Jeffrey. Despite rumours to the contrary, Jeff always had enormous influence over personel decisions in Nashville. Drafting Pac Man Jones at six overall? Jeff Fisher. Cutting Legarrette Blount to keep a special teams player? Jeff Fisher.

Jeff's ego got in his way all the time and he's stuck trying to win 1985 Bears style in a different era.

Put it this way, if Jeff Fisher was such a great coach and Bud was so bad, why did he put up with Bud Adams instead of leaving to find a better situation? Overly meddlesome owners don't put up with coaches with Fisher's resume for 17 years.

The Titans went 9-7 this year with a fairly mediocre team. We don't miss the guy one bit. I give him O/U 3.5 years in St. Louis.
