For his first win against New England.

Gase has fared well in the AFC East battles, going 4-2 last season and is now 6-3. But he was 0-3 lifetime versus Bellichick and the Patriots before yesterday. The last outing against New England was a stinker.

Make no mistake, Gase pulled all the stops and outcoached Bellichick, which is something that rarely happens. MIami avoided the big mistakes that costs them dearly in losses to Oakland and in other close games.

For all the talk about the team quitting on Gase etc., we sure didn't see that at all. Miami came out on fire with energy and passion on both sides of the ball.

Congrats to Gase on maybe his biggest win so far as a head coach. If it happens to cost NE home field advantage, well that would be nice.

It was a great win and Gase deserves credit. I thought he was the problem but maybe not. No dumb screens and a complete game. Hard to believe the same team lost to Ravens 44-0 and to Tampa Bay.

Pass rush helps a lot. So did press.

You have to take into account he is still a very young H.C. He will learn and improve over time, clueless Joe he is not. If we can just get this defense to start playing like last night these last 3 games, it's going to be an enjoyable off-season. Screw the draft position, we FINALLY have a real H.C now so anything is possible. So glad Miami didn't go into tank mode like I wanted lol!

Props to Adam. I am so happy that he put up what I always wanted from him. If he keeps up the progress I will want him long term to make the fins great again. I do think Tannenbum and crew will remain unfortunately.

It definitely does make you wonder where this game was all season. The inconsistency of the team is mind boggling, although that is the case with a lot of teams in the NFL.

That might have been Jay Cutler's best game EVER.
He should have had another TD pass (Grant's drop) which would have given him 4.
Unbelieveable

I agree. And this is probably the first time I've seen him show so much emotion. The man was absolutely on fire. His escape play and hitting Drake for a first down was one of the biggest plays in the game. That was essentially a 4 point play right there.

Honestly, the only mistake he made was throwing to Grant when he could have ran for the first down. Can't knock him much for that.

Nice thread, congrats to him and keep it up!

Where are all of the usual suspects calling for his head?
My guess is that they are in a deep depression, can't really blame them . Must be hard when your team beats the best team in football on national TV. I imagine some of them have not seen the score yet because the newspaper has not arrived yet....One guy in particular!
