So Miami's on MNF, I'm in full fledged "can't concentrate on work, so I guess I'll spam the message boards so it looks like I'm working" mode.

I'm over here thinking about our squad and its chance in NE in two weeks (look I get the one game at a time addage, but that's for the players, I'm a fan, its my job to project and predict based on my limited knowledge) and I truly think we'll win because we are constructed to beat NE.

Bill Belichek's defensive strategy for years has been to take away your top weapon and work backwards from there. Going all the way back to Marshall Faulk in their first Super Bowl, this has served NE well. Who does Bill have trouble stopping? Teams with multiple weapons. Look at GB, they had trouble because they couldn't concentrate on one weapon, and while they overloaded defensive assets on jordy and cobb, the rookie adams torched them, and lacy gashed them.

Our offense is similar in that if you try to take one person away, we can go to 3 or 4 more options and get similar results.

Its not that our weapons are all amazing, its that we are deeply competent and above average, which is something Belicheck has trouble gameplanning against, as there is no true achillies heel.

Defensively we bring pressure up the middle which brady always struggles with, and have a "Gronk Stopper" with Dion Jordan.

Let's take care of business these next two weeks, and I think we can shock the world in foxboro.

That is all...discuss.

The way to beat NE is by getting to Brady early, and making him get off his launch point. Same thing with most QBs...would have worked against Manning too but we never got any pressure on him.

That was basically the formula when we played them the first time...we were all up in Brady's face and he didn't like it. He looked horrible in the 2nd half. However, things have changed. NE is running the ball much more efficiently, even before signing Blount, so that makes playing them a bit more difficult. We also haven't beat NE in NE since we whipped out the wildcat in 2008 and shocked the heck out of them.

Dion Jordon stopping Gronk? Mmmmmmmmmm seems like a reach there don't you think?

don't forget we were up on them big last year in Foxboro until the buffalo wild wing referees stepped in, i agree we are a bad matchup for the Pats. Ravens game is damn near winner take all

I agree, but in a simpler way:
Pass rush from the D line. You get brady off the spot and knock him a round a little, and he shows you what a ***** he is.
