Has anyone heard any talks about this, i think we need to get this guy signed and not let him hit the maqrket next year, honestly i think he has 5-7 good years left in him. and we are only gonnna get better and more talented around him.

Good question - I'm not sure if they wait to address it during the course of next season, or maybe in the offseason. Henne's in the wings, but there's no reason at all to go to him while the Dolphins are so successful.

give him a 2-3 yr extension and see how his shoulder does ... cuz i honestly see alot of hope and alot of the future in HENNE! he has impressed me in ractices and in the last preseason...

keep him around for short periods like they intended in the first place 2 yrs short term u dont want to give him a big 5 6 ,or 7 yr deal and then in 2 yrs his shoulders starts to trip again and then around that time u would have to pay henne more if hes as good as hyped so far..

This year was great thanks to him, but if I think the guy can play another 2-4 years, not 5-7.... Remember, this year he was healthy, he had injury problems before and age doesn't help.

exactly hes already in his 30's....3 yr deal maybe??? thats sounds reasonable. maybe 9-10 mil???

lol... give him his walking papers... this team already has its QB for the future... sorry to all those who are enamored with Pennington.

I honestly think this may be Pennington's last stop . . . before he coaches.

I thought I read where he understands that he is the man until the team is ready to bring Henne in, and that he didn't have a problem staying on as a backup.

That Would Be Ideal Backing Up Henne When Henne Starts And Being Our Qb's Coach???? Who Better To Learn From For Henne...??

Henne Is The Future He Looks Good. But I Say Play Pennington Till He A. Gets Injured Or B. Struggles Or Whenever A Season Is No Longer A Playoff Hope In It.. We Cant Just Dump Pennington If Hes Playing Well I Feel He Deserves Better ...

Quarterback's Coach? Anyone?

As long as it took this team to get a franchise QB, I seriously doubt we just dump Pennington unless you can tell he is falling apart. This is the best QB play we have had down here since the early/mid 90's and Marino. 15 years . . . Pennington is in an ideal situation and the team LOVES him . . . he is a god in South Florida, and will forever be one. I think he retires a fin.

I Hope So To Bro'der.!(him Retiring Here And Being Involved With The Franchise)
