Contract status of Brown and Bell

Does Ronnie's contract expire after next season? What about Bell? I thought he signed a one year deal to stay but will be a free agent after the year.

Anyone know?
 
ronnie brown is a FA after next season. As for bell, im afraid he's a FA this year. And im not sure that parcells will be looking to extend his contract.
 
I am sure the FO was waiting to see what they have left in Ronnie and if he can make it a whole season. If Ronnie keeps this up, you can be assured that he will get a BIG extension before the year is up.

I also doubt that they will let Bell go either...

first, BIG extension to RB is not a guarantee especially for an injury prone back AND for a position that in thsi league has become very badly paid. THey dont really go into their late 20's early 30s like they used to. HOWEVER RB is our main playmaker if not the only REAL playmaker and the heart of the offense in a SENSE cuz RW cant do what RB does.
 
Cannot let either of them go. Bell is the vocal leader and qb of this secondary. He played with some serious fire today, and I loved it.

Unless you've got a serious replacement for this guy, you can't let him go.

no one had as much fire as bell, roth and porter. roth was a beast today as bell and porter. crowder wont get rsigned cuz the man jsut doenat make any plays. 2 tackleS? for a MLB?
 
Crowder, Bell, and Carey are the guys in the last year of their contracts. Bell and Carey have earned an extension, but Crowder still needs to make some more plays.

you smokin rock why wouldnt we extend one of the best young safties in the leagues contract?

cause bell isnt young anymore.. isnt he 29-30ish? I dont know the exact age of him but he aint young.. I still would love to see him be a dolphin next year though and bring a cb/safety in via the draft:up:
