Converting the QB position

Marlin Briscoe....haven't heard that name in a long time.

When I was little, I thought he was related to Jack and Jerry Brisco. :chuckle:

Points to anyone who gets that reference.
 
Lot's of talent on that list.... imagine the list of guys who never got a shot.... now that list would be a long one...

Every Saturday....I'd watch Florida championship wrestling with Gordon Solie and then "Creature Features" right after that, on channel 6.

Damn, that was a long time ago... :(

My fav was "The Gladiator".... and lets not forget Tampa's own Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorf..... the Brandon Bull in football
 
I live in Ala. but use to watch it also,Dusty Rhodes,Sonny King,Mike Garvin,The
Briscos,The Spoiler and Ken Lucas.
Loved Ga. Championship Wrestling also. Gordon was a busy man back then.
 
It's great to see more "athlete's" getting a shot in todays NFL.... the NFL has always experimented with "athlete's"... look at all the track stars from times past.... now it seems to be BB players....

I used to see Dusty Rhodes from time to time in the grocery store... the guy is like 5'8"....

Yes - and he sucked. You think Jay Fiedler threw to the wrong team a lot - Corey looked like he had no idea which way to throw. He makes a heck of an LB though - that guy can hit waaaay better than he can throw!
 
Remember Tony Martin? wasn't he a QB in school?

BTW....where are you in AL.? I lived in Dothan from '90 to '96.
