:lol: I gave the same advice. It's not that bad if you think about it. I didn't realize some of her family were board members though. For someone that has no clue on who to root for, they should root for the local team. After finding more about her, I agree she should be a Phins fan.

After re-reading this thread I would like to apologize if I came off a bit arrogant on my reply. I was born into the Fin family so it's a little hard to explain why I love them. The one bit of advice I should've given is to watch this season with the people you love and see the passion and love they have for this team. Then I'm sure their love for the team will rub off on you. That plus the Fins are the GREATEST team in all of sports.

I am also one of the 8 boys and a member of the "clan" on here. Slofins is a good and decent person and was just looking for some insight into Dolphin-mania. She has seen it first hand with us and was just wondering if all fins fans are as passionate as we are about Dolphins football. Fortunately some of you showed her while others were exceptionally rude and uncompassionate. What she doesn't know yet is she really has no choice. A person can't be around Dolphin's football as much as she's going to be and not get sucked in. After all, they are the winningest franchise in all of sports history. Let the games begin and welcome aboard Slofins.

That's what I said in my previous post: she already is a fan and doesn't know it. That's she's already being sucked into it is evident by her going to the effort of registering to come on the board and asking questions.

lol, this thread is funny. As if the Dolphins "need" the fans. Did you just recently start watching football? If you want to be a charity case, cheer for the Cardinals. That is a team in dier need of fans. We got Dolphins fans from all over the country, we don't need any fakers.

THANKS Dolfans!!!! Im overwhelmed by all the responses mostly positive, but ALL were passionate. That type of passion is what I want to feel about the Dolphins. Thats why I asked, that what all of you showed me. The word "convince" really stirred things up and at first I thought ut oh wrong choice of words! But I have seen the tremendous loyalty all of you have. O.K. I am "CONVINCED":D But I think some of you were right , I already was a Dolphan and just didnt know it yet. Thanks again for welcoming me aboard! Now Im on board wheres Ronnie? :idea: :horsey:

Or you could summarize for me, i'm far too lazy to read 12 pages worth of posts. The original post is laughable. That's what i'm responding too. Who the hell needs to be convinced into cheering for a certain team. Pick a team and stick with them. It's as simple as that.
