Convince me I should be a Dolphin fan...

I could try and convince you by illustrating the vivid comradship between us all here at FinHeaven, and how on Sundays it doesn't matter if you're red, white or blue, all that matters is the Aqua and Orange baby!!

But by the looks of these dudes responses, that comradship is but a distant illustion :D

Look at the history of this franchise, read up on the legacy that Shula created here. Live in Miami and feel the "football fever" pull you...I didn't realize how special following the Fins were until I had to move away from So. Fla. No area follows it's team like we do there. The Fins have had a down year, but we'll be back and there'll be plenty of bandwagon jumpers soon. Join in before it becomes the "in" thing to do...

No offense but it seems to me there are entirely too many convinced Dolphin fans out there to begin with.

You sound like a sincere guy, with potential to become one day a dolphins fan. My suggestion to you is to take your time, watch dolphins game, try to learn and understand the history, the pride and the tradition that this team is all about.

well, living in tampa, you probably might want to be a bucs fan. since you will have more opp to watch their games, go to tailgating eveents, etc.

for me.....i was BORN a fin and will ALWAYS be a fin, baby!

congrats, I don't know how anyone actually helped with your choice. I saw more reasons not to be a fin fan.

Because the Colts have no defense (and probably never will), and the Broncos play dirty. Besides deep down inside you know that your husband is right!!

It will make for a happier marriage rooting with the husband rather than against the husband. As stupid as it sounds I don't know if I could be with a woman who laughed at me when the Dolphins lost.
