Not saying we'll ever move past the "animal" of the sea, which is our dolphins, but I thought this was cool. If ever some day we get to some more abstract and sleek design (and who knows with the redesigned uni concepts I've seen)...then maybe something like this, which is not a dolphin but is suggestive of one.

It's so funny to me that you criticize the current logo for what it is but then you post an image of another "concept" in the thinking that it's better. You can't even tell what the heck that thing is without the fin.

Some folks in the offseason just want to argue,...even if it's about a graphic.

Meant sun, not space. My bad. But you know what I meant.

Anyway, I agree, I think we should keep the sunburst long into the future, if possible. I think there are a lot of ways to do that, even if the image gets more abstract.

To be clear,..I was just posting an interesting image, not suggesting we change logos again real soon. My thought was that if the organization ever moves away from an actual dolphin, there are ways to keep the fin, at the very least, as in that design.
 
Looks like one of those blue signs for bathrooms you see at public places but this one would be for dolphins. :chuckle:

But it's cool to hate it, no problem with that. I didn't design it...lol.

The logo is not under our control. Teams seem to be moving away from detail and into more abstract and compact designs.

Someday, it will change. And I think, drastically. They won't ask our opinion, when the time comes. But we'll give it, anyway, we are fans.
