a perfect example of a saban DB 3 picks thus far in preseason wow and we coulda had em if NY didnt grab him in the second i saw him pick of pennington he almost remind me of surtain a lil bit. danm i hope daniels can match this dudes skill cuz by golly we need it

He has looked good, but so has Travis (who was a 4th round pick, vs Webster who went in the 2nd)

I like Roth a lot, especially considering it looks like we got a steal in a CB in Daniels in the 4th.

I agree he doenst have the best speed but i think he could def become a very good 2nd CB

He was rated up near Pacman and Rolle at the start of his senior season but with only an average year he dropped into mid-late 1st round projections and then dropped to 2nd round projections with the draft approaching.

Would have been great to get him in the 3rd or fourth though.

I'm glad we got Roth but when Saban let it be known he was going to take Webster in the second had he not gone 3 picks earlier, matched with the fact we may have taken Adrian MacPherson if he didn't go 10 picks earlier, I think of what our draft class could've been...

Webster has looked great, which justifies Saban's comments. He'll contribute before Roth will.

I think the tandem to watch is out in Arizona, where they drafted Antrel Rolle and my boy Eric Green, who picked off Damon Huard and took it to the house last week. It's a strong possibility that AZ could field a rookie starting tandem in Week 1.

I actually think we would have taken Kyle Orton in the 4th if we'd have landed Webster. Elton Brown is looking good out in Arizona though.

Travis Daniels has never been the kind of guy to get picks, he's more the break-up-passes type of corner. I would have loved to get both though.
