it was pretty clear that our cornerbacks were the weak link today. reggie howard flat out sucks. he either leaves the guy wide open, or when he does stay with his man, gets a penalty bc he doesnt turn his damn head around. sam madison obviously isnt the great cornerback that he once was, but he is still a pretty good cornerback. the problem with sam is he thinks he is still the great cornerback he once was, so he thinks he can get away with all of his bs and back up his talk. however, he should work more on stayin decent rather than his trash talkin. travis daniels played very well and even eddie jackson had a nice play.
 
Howard just isn't getting the job done. It's time to see what our depth chart looks like.
 
Madison and Howard have been our weak links at CB over the last season and quarter. I wont be sorry to see any of them go, Sam i'm giving more of a pass since he went from so damn good to mediocre. But Howard is just miserable, that was a pathetic performance today, i'm tired of both of them and the ridiculous penalties. I want them to re-tool next off-season.
 
was that a picture of Ronnie Brown ? man he is big , and people were wanting to bench him? humm , as far as reggie howard is concerned saban should make him run until his ankles hurt as this should wake a guy up.

yes steve smith is a good receiver. but it wasnt just howard getting beat by smith. he got beat by colbert and prohel as well. also, he had quite a few stupid penalties.

Smith is like 36 or sumthin, so maybe u meant hines is the next steve smith?? but then again hines is already better.

Smith, the Wr from Utah, is 26 years old. He's been in the league 5 years. And he keeps getting better every year. So yes he makes db look bad. That being said Howard play has been atrocious.
