Cortland Finnegan

He was hitting and pushing AJ on almost every play before this happened.. Extremely dirty player. I want no part of that chump

I watched the game. He was doing what a good CB does, he threw AJ off his game and did a great job of it. There were no flags thrown until AJ ripped his helmet off and finnegan retaliated.

This is an interesting potential pick up. A risk with a lot of upside. If a short term bargain contract can be had the risk can be worth it. Definitely worth bringing in for a look.

If he is healthy and cheap then its a good move

I saw it live as well. He was getting away with all kinds of things. Nobody throws punches and shoves receivers the way he was that day. He was just mad that Johnson usually manhandles him every time they play...

Prob one of my most disliked players in the NFL. I will be pissed if he comes to Miami.

no on "The Island" but yes to "old-busted-ass" Courtland Finnegan??!! The Triangle are straight obtuse

MIA drafted Taylor and Davis last year to start at CB and NB.

Miami is looking for a cheap vet to compete with the sophomore CBs and if necessary act as a stopgap if the youngsters are not ready.

Signing Revis for $12 m per year is not only a waste of cap on its own (MIA signed Grimes for 2/3 that amount), but wastes the CB draft picks.

The dolphins arent searching for a starting CB because they believe they already have their starters and I agree. They just need a vet who has had his value go down to help these young guys play at their best and Finnegan falls under that category and he bring that edge that he plays with.

CB1-Grimes
CB2-Taylor
NB-Davis
Rotational-Finnegan

I like it.

OG Shelley Smith and CB Cortland Finnegan are still at Dolphins facility. Have been there all day.

I don't see how you can like that...first of all Will Davis is a terrible NB fit, not nearly physical enough on the inside. He's far from ready to start on the outside either after he got burned constantly last year. I have a lot more faith in Taylor, but I really hope we can do better than Finnegan because I'd only want him strictly as a slot guy. If we have to start Finnegan on the boundary we're gonna have issues.
