i have calculated that over the last 4 years i have spent 2K on the dolphins...

i realize that many of you have spent more... but 2k is a lot to me!

i have been a dolphin fan for a about 10 years now so i will say i have been with the team in good and bad times...

but i am considering jumping ship!

for my 2k i have been to exacly 1 game!
every year i pay direct tv over 300 bucks now to watch the games in HD
of course i dont get but maybe 6 games a year in HD and that pisses me off!:tantrum:
i have purchased one jersey and a couple of hats... oh and vp here.

here's my problem... for 2k i could go to several games a year if i were a fan of one of the 2 local teams.... dallas or houston....
i'm thinking about making a change....

bring on the shouts and accusations!

Jump on the Bears bandwagon! 6-0!!! Colts are always good of late, why not? C-YA

Go Dolphins! See ya back here when they are good again!

A true loyal fan sticks with the team regardless of what the teams record is. Otherwise you're just a bandwagon fan.

First off you don't have to spend a ton of money to be a fan, that's your choice. I've been a fan for about 20 yrs, I've bought 2 jerseys that i still wear 1 Clayton and 1 Surtain. I am married and have one son and another on the way, my wife is a full time student so my income is the only one right now. If the game is'nt on sometimes i dont see it, or if i have extra money for the week i'll go to a bar and nurse a few beers for the whole game. Point being you can be piss-poor and still be a loyal fan at heart, sounds to me like an excuse. Anyway don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.

Dude, if you think you could jump ship that easily, then go ahead.

I could be a Tampa fan or a Jacksonville fan but, my heart won't let that happen.....If your heart has no say in the matter, by all means, listen to your wallet.

no one cares how much money you spend or why you are leaving.

as a matter of fact why the hell am i responding to this stupid thread. :fire:

I want my 2 min back!!!:tantrum:

A PA Fin Fan for 20+

i have lived in south central PA all my life and thanks to '85 when the skins and the fins played in the big game I became a fins fan 4 life( cause i hate and always will hate the home town team) I'm never going to give up on them, so all you so called fans who live in Florida.....suck it up! It's not over til fat Tony 'Goosa sings!

.....Countless Lions fans are just shaking their heads.....

you wanna go go! i wont cry for anyone i stick with my team till the day i die!!! the day the phins make it to the super bowl i am selling my car i am doing whatever it takes to get tickets i am sticking with this team NO MATTER WHAT

why are u wasting your money. the majority of the players are multimillionaires. they could care less about your expenditures! watch the games when there on tv. post on this board. read the local paper, etc. Listen to the talk shows / internet or radio. really that's about it.

Its up to you if you want to be a fan or not. If you don't think the money is worth it then don't spend it. I'm one of the biggest fans there is and follow the team closely, but I don't have the cash to spend. I only have one old ratty tshirt and the free just they give away at the games. (I can only usually afford to go to one a year).

Its not like H Wayne needs your money.

I looked into being a Bucs fan when I lived in Tampa and could hear the cannons go off everytime they scored, but it just wasn't me. I care about the dolphins and I always will.

But shelling out cash that I need for my kids to make rich men richer is a different story.

Thats why I love this site, cause its free!!! and full of other fans to keep in touch with.

I for one am happy your thinking about jumping ship, our team and fans do not want your type of support.

Eric-N-TX............................... BYE BYE.

To even think of jumping ship on your so-called favorite team when they are losing is an abhorition and can be added to the seven deadly sins.

1: Pride: Not proud

2: Envy: Wish our record was that of the Cowboys

3: Gluttony: Paying $300 for watching a team you really don't like

4: Lust: For the fins to beat the Texans

5: Anger: anger that they did'nt

6: Greed: wanting your money back because we have been losing this year

7: Sloth: Eric

and for the new addition to the deadly sins which will now make it 8 (C Pep's jersey number):

8: Jumping Ship= Eric-N-TX
