Cote: Miami Dolphins should be thinking wide receiver

While I myself would not mind seeing us use a first round pick on a wide receiver, I just can't help but think that were going CB or LB at 25

The only receiver I think is worth the 25th pick that will be (possibly) available is Hakeem Nicks.

Here is the best receipe for success. Whatever Greg Cote says you should do, do the exact opposite of that.

No kidding. I would've been happy with Maclin/Nicks/Britt at #25 until Cote said we should do it.

I'm not sure why they still pay that guy to write Dolphins opinion pieces. I read much more well thought out threads on finheaven from various folks every day.

I think unless unless you are absoultely sure a guy is going to be a sure thing at wide receiver, it's probably best that we look to a defensive player with our first pick....E. Brown, Matthews, Maualuga, maybe even a Darius Butler? I would rather use our 2A pick on a WR, and then probably take the best CB on the board at 2B. I think Ramses Barden could be there in the 3rd round, and he could be a nice tall WR, or maybe with his size get converted to an Antonio Gates type Tight End.
