:kick:Check out Cotes article and then read through the responses on his blog...he is getting destroyed on there. 100% ultra deep colon cleaning is going on in there and he may not survive it folks! This reminds me of Armando-gate. I wonder how long till he follows his buddy Armando and goes on the radio explaining what he really mean't?:sidelol:

DON'T REMEMBER ARMANDO-GATE? - GO HERE TO FLIPPER'S FINEST AND LEARN WHAT THE MIAMI SPORTS WRITERS REALLY THINK OF DOLPHINS FOOTBALL. Over 24,000 views and 383 replies from the Dolfan Brotherhood. Armando-Gate spread to Radio, TV, and all the So Flo Newspapers.

Lastly, I saved all of the interaction between Armando and myself on AOL so I can gladly forward it too you if any of you doubt the conversation took place.

Cote has said the exact same thing on the radio when he does his weekly segment on 790, doubt he will back away from anything he said.

Ive just added my comment on the site. I wonder if he'll read them, somehow i doubt it.
This is what i sent to Mr Cote.
As a media critic who is supposed to be writing for a local newspaper about a local team i find your comments seriously misguided by a wanton ability to want the Miami Dolphins No1 pick to sit out and potentially damage his rookie season. Where is the love Mr Cote? Im from the UK and i thought our gutter press was scraping the bottom of the preverbial pit of negative, unthoughtful comments but having read your column i have to say you get the gold medal. Regards. FanMarino.

whoa the linkto the article in the blog is dead, anyone have a real link, after reading the blog comments i'd love to read that article and rant myself.
Those reply's were furious! :sidelol::lol::sidelol:
If that guy keeps his job the herald deserves to lose its sports reader base.

Good job! I just read that one too...Mine is right below it:

This is single handedly one of thee worst stories I have ever read. The point is useless, unintelligent, unsubstantiated and just plain worthless. The quality of this story is by far the worst I have ever read. To advise a 22 year old kid to not report to work, to avoid tight deadlines, and to purposefully fued with his boss is the worst advice I have ever heard a supposed "adult" (or so you call yourself) give to a young, unaware 22 year kid is lunacy and borderline psychopathic. You are representing the Miami Herald and if the Miami Herald supports your ramblings and support of steering todays youth in the obvious wrong direction then you should be terminated and the Miami Herald closed down. I know my subscription to the Herald will not be renewed after this ludicrous and hinenious article. The Herald MUST take action and terminate you immediately. You have cost them revenues because of the pointless and unsubstaniated ramblings of your lunatic mind...
Good day sir...

Nice one  I had actually just read your comments dolpns13 before i came back onto this thread. Good stuff. I hope that Cote guy gets chewed out by his superiors. I amazed a local media writer can post such a biased, negative column and expect to get away with it. It gives a negative impression of his news rag.

How something like this gets past the editors is beyond me. They are just as much to blame as that moron

And my reply:

Greg,

C'mon...What a moronic column. We're you that far behind deadline? This column is silly and just makes you look like a moron. With Lebeterd on staff, that's saying alot...

Nice! I hope this moron gets canned...He rightfully deserves it

i don't agree with what he said, but majority of posters here seem to always want writers who don't think the dolphins are goiong to win the super bowl next year fired, and burned at the stake.

I havent seen that to be the case at all. I think fans simply want some unbiased Dolphins news and are tired of the same beat writers bad mouthing everything about our franchise.

Can you provide some examples (links) for us to read through and see what you mean about how most of us are engaging in this behavior?

I know what your saying about fans who never wanna take the aqua glasses off, but this is far different. He isnt offering constructive critizim that some may not agree with. He is trying to be a destructive factor towards the team. Even if he does feel this way he should not be telling people to hold out with a sufficent reason. He is just being malicious and fully support him getting flamed for it. I hope the Dolphins snub him for all thier press confrences, and metaphorically bench him for the season. Let him do this years reports through information he gets from the AP.
