Could 49ers still want Rodgers ahead of Smith?????

Everybody saying that you HAVE to take the best player reguardless of money isn't necissarily correct. If they had Rodgers even with Smith, or even just a fraction below the Extra Money Smith is going to get plays into their future also. Highly overpaying for a player can kill you in the long run when down the road you're not able to sign key players because of ONE other guy

Say they do take Rodgers it'll be interesting how difficult Smith would be to sign for any team. I don't know what's going to happen on draft day but I believe the 9ers take a Qb and he is signed, I think the QB will be put in a horrible situation and probably will start from day one. I think it's good for young QB's to play, but I don't think the 9ers have any playmakers on offense besides Barlow who I believe stated on his wish-list for the offseason was "5 new offensive linemen."
