Atlanta is willing to trade there pro bowler Hall for a 2ND & 6th draft picks .This comes at a time when Atlanta has several positions to fill and QB has got to be one of them. There franchise player QB as we all know had his off field issues and the team is ready to put a new face on the franchise. I, could see Atlanta moving up from 3 to 1 to get that QB. It would not suprise me if the BIG TUNA had not already been approached about Hall and he would rather have the picks.Atlanta will hold 11 picks after the trade happens and 3 of them are in the 2nd rd. #34,37,48.!!! Please this is only a thought.:hi5:

It could be however; If I were Atlanta I would choose one of the top picks like Jake Long, Chris Long, Vernon Gholston or Sedrick Ellis and draft one of the other remaining QBs who will be there for them in the 2nd round.

I would not I would chose somebody that can be the face of the franchis. I know a defensive player can but it is easyer for a Qb to become the face of the franchisbecause they get they get the ball every time.

they dont need to get any more picks than they already have to move into number 1....their 3rd pick and a 3rd or so would be enough...

Well lets hope so but I doubt it. "If" Ireland and Parcell's can pull off a "decent" trade for the #1 pick that is a major coup in this day and age.

They may be looking to trade up now. Just think of all the Ryan jerseys they can sell. They have no face of the franchise and they have to replace the gloom the whole Vick fiasco caused. Theres not one star there now. I imagine newly acquired Michael Turner is the biggest name.

pointless to move up two spots just to get a big contract on your hands.
they will get great talent at whatever position right where they sit now at #3.

What if they wanted to move up and offered us a 3rd would you take it. Because it's supposedly ripping us off or would take it even though it makes sense. We still get our guy, pay less, and pick up extra picks? I think we have to take it!

Nice post bro. Michael Turner will do well there. I agree on Ryan as a new name there to help change the damaged franchise around for the better.

Depends bro, if other teams are interested in the same player, and word gets out of moving to the top, it might be who picked up the phone first.

I agree. To many people are just fooling themselves thinking Atlanta will move up 2 spots to get the same guy they could have gotten at 3.

Why do I say this? If I were Atlanta I would look at it this way. Miami is the only team that might take Ryan. If Miami WANTED Ryan they wouldn't be willing to move out of the spot, period. If they don't want Ryan they get him at three.

Do you take that chance if you are Atlanta, or do you ensure you get Ryan, by forcing Miami's hand?

I think the problem is Ryan isn't as good as we wish he were. He is maybe a half step better then the next QB on the board and that's just at the college level. Atlanta knows we don't want Ryan and neither do the Rams. Unless someone tries to trade up to take him there's no reason for Atlanta to budge. Basically Miami will be stuck with the number 1 overall pick because there's no one really that great that teams must have him. I think Miami takes the best player on the board and that will be Chris Long. Atlanta will be sitting there at 3 and who knows where they rate Ryan, maybe they love him, maybe not so much, but no one will offer us squat to move up to #1, that's just how I see it.
