With all this contract negotiation stuff going on, do you guys think Brown may miss training camp all together? Since Monday is the first preseason game, doesn't camp end Saturday?

No. Camp does not end Saturday.

They officially break on like the 22nd or 24th or sometime like that.

Ronnie will be signed and playing for opening day.

Sounds exactly right to me

He could, and if he does I don't expect anything from him this year as he'd have missed learning the offense entirely.

He could easily come in the day before the season starts and still have a very productive year. RB is one of the only positions where it won't hurt him that much.. I'm sure he is studying the playbook.

I doubt that Ronnie is going to miss all of camp...it does not end Saturday...besides, there is still 4 more week of preseason practices...

I thought they weren't allowed to have a playbook until they were under contract per NFL bylaws. I could be wrong .

I think he would have gotten a playbook during mini camp.

Imagine if Edwards get's paid like a no.2 , Saban will be forced to pay Brown what he wants or maybe not .

imagine if brown said he won't notice the difference of 3 mil......:rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3:

SHOW ME THE MONEY!

Love the panic of some of you guys.... chill well be fine...
its been awhile since the Fins picked this high up on the draft...

Ronnie Brown needs to make sure he is paid more than Edwards...

Ill welcome him with open arms.. whenever he is ready to come to camp... if he doesnt start the first few games..so what... he'll be here for many years...

Missing camp could be detrimental physically and mentally. When was the last time he took a hit or delivered a blow? That was way back in Auburn's bowl game. He just has to get his body into game shape.

As far as the mental concerns, there are only so many holes to choose on a given running play, so a RB has an easier time adjusting to NFL offenses, but Brown will also be responsible for picking up free rushers, and Linehan was planning on using Brown in some different formations to take advantage of his route running and pass catching ability. Until he comes in, the offense won't be fully installed.

when asked about his hold out and the "3 million dollar difference"
would be great if RB said " You how much insurance is for a Ferrari?"... paraphasing a great line from the Replacements....
