could cause problems

I like our chances to land Brees. I think he likes the idea of going to a team that will contend

what scares me about the vikings is how much cap space thay have...they could sign brees and then trade daunte...you never know

as long as saban offers the right amount of money the first time, we should get this guy.

Brees wants to win IMO. I dont think he thinks of Minnesota a winning team! I think he likes Saban! Who wouldnt??

very true, plus the viks sad they want to keep Donte, they wouldnt spend all that money on two big name QBs. They have way bigger needs

yea but if theyre gonna cut daunte or trade him..who is gonna be their qb? thats all im sayin ...there gonna make a decision soon...

they will have to cut or trade him before we can get Brees. I hope Nick moves faster than the viks. and knowing how slow they move durring the draft, we can get Brees!

I know this is the overall feeling, but money is not everything. Where and who you play for is just as much as important. You want to play in a situation that is the most desireable to success. Vikings are now in the transition phase like us last year. Brees would do himself better by getting together with a team that is ready and has been ready for him.

money does talk.. but unless Minny or Detroit, give him a blank check, Miami is a very attractive place to play. Of the 3 choices, Miami has the most talent and is the only team on the uprise. Detroit is, well.... Detroit. And Minny has so many problems and holes to fill. On top of that they have a 1st year coach with a team to rebuild, which could take years to do. And Brees would be competing for the starting job anywhere else. In Miami he would basically be handed the starting job. (if we dont make any other QB FA signings). In other words he has his best shot at both a starting job and an immediate playoff contender down in Miami. Oh yeah, and theres no income tax in Miami, which makes even a lesser contract (money wise), more profitable. Seems like the most logical place for him to land. That said... u never know what could or will happen. I'm just hoping we can sign him at 12:01am tomorrow. Or saturday(if they change the the date again!)
