Ross could be forced to just promote Boyer or Godsey or some ****!
 
We really may have to promote from within if no one else is willing to come here.

That just makes it a 2 step process. Promote Boyer. who's DC. will that guy be promoted from within? And who takes his place?
At some point there has to be an outside hire. Boyer or Gods may be promoted, but, at some point, an experienced OC/DC will be found
 
We could be playing our usual super bowl (draft) next year with not a lot of effort
