Could Hickey be waiting for DeSean Jackson to get released?

I might be just dreaming but, I am still holding out hopes that Jimmy Graham is on the market after he wins his appeal. He will be worth breaking the bank for.

He is also super fast. That's why the comparison.
I have never seen any indication that Benjamin is fast much less super fast.

Randy Moss could take over a game and I have yet to see Benjamin do that.

Benjamin isnt even a top 5 WR in this draft IMO. I wouldnt take him until the 3rd round. Hes big...but he really doesnt create much separation and doesnt hi-point or fight for balls as much as you would expect from someone his size.

As for DJax...he would be nice but he will still get paid and I doubt they are going to pay Wallace AND Djax. Although damn talk about some speed. I dont think he will be released though...who knows.

Benjamin is nothing like Moss. He is neither fast, nor can he change directions quickly. Compare him to Mike Evans, who actually is a fluid athlete and Benjamin lumbers and looks uncoordinated. Randy Moss was a once in a lifetime talent who would be a star in multiple pro leagues, much less WR in the NFL. I'm not saying Benjamin will be a poor WR, but he has much to work on.

Id take jackson in a heart beat! Then if RYan continues to fail with the deep ball after getting him a qb change is needed with the amount of talent at wideout we'd have

6'5" 240 and runs 4.5s. That is pretty fast for a guy that size. I would call that freakishly fast. Moss was quite a bit faster. But, he wasn't that big either.

I'd rather the Fins sign James Jones over VJax. He is a definite red zone threat which this team still needs. Jones is in Carolina today and with their need for WR I doubt they let him leave without a deal.

James Jones sucks, that dude netted me like 5 total fantasy points the entire 2013 season lmao.

We have a different definition of freakishly fast.

No offense, but there is now way DJax ends up on this team. He wants more money and if we have 2 recievers making 8 digit salaries, that would be a complete waste of money.

Lets try to get Tannehill and Wallace on the same page before we even consider bringing in a similar reciever.

Desean Jackson isn't really available.

Benjamin? Why? This draft is super deep at WR. I'd rather draft other positions early and mid and look to get a WR late. A guy like Jeff Janis is 6'3 and ran a 4.42 with a 37.5 vertical and has a lot of good fluid tape. He can provably be had in the 6th simply because this draft is so deep at WR and he played against a low level of competition. He could be the next Marques Constant and can be had for a song. Ditto with CB's late in this draft.

I'd stay away from WR early unless you were New England and had a crazy huge need. I'm hoping we shore up the lines with our early and mid picks.

Can we find a pair of interior linemen? Lol.

WTF, the guy had over 800 yards receiving and 3 td's as a #3 WR option and that was with Rodgers starting for only 9 games while Scott Tolzien and Matt Flynn were his starting QB for the rest of season. So yeah, lets just cross every players off the list because they didn't put up inflated fantasy #'s with no regard to what caused the actual situation. SMDH

How about no...

Nothing against him, but the Phins have too many finesse WR as it is....

I think Hickey may be waiting for one of Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning or Tom Brady to be released. Then he'll jump on it.
