We all know by now Gibril Wilson needs to go. His play this season was beyond horrible. There are plenty of rumors in New York Kerry Rhodes is done as a jet. In fact I think the fat man himself said Rhodes will not return after both have had issues. Rhodes is 27 he is 6'3 and is coming of a break out year. Nolan runs a very similiar defense to Ryan. In fact Rex is considered a prodigy of Nolan. So here is my question could Kerry Rhodes be in a Miami uniform next season & would you guys want him.

his breakout year was in '06 when he had 98 tackles, 5 sacks, 4 picks, and 3 FFs. he hasn't touched that kind of production since. would i take him? depends on what it would take i guess. this upcoming draft is crazy deep at the safety position so i wouldn't give up too much to get him.

If the guy can upgrade our defense i am pretty much for it.....yeh he is a trash talker. If he backs it up then i can forgive some of the BS that comes with it. Like Porter, at first he was backing it up. Now he is just talking trash to hear himself talk. So i am done with the JP thing

Didn't he get benched this year? I would take a look at him, but I don't think you can call a year "breakout" when he got benched.

After looking at his stats he did not have a breakout year, but he had a very effective year.

He had 63 tackls, 13 pass dedended & 3 INTs, Renaldo Hill who was with Nolan in Denver had 59 tackles 6 pass defended & 2 INTs

Sick safety blitz on the unsackable Peyton manning to force a fumble at a crucial point of a critical game. Probably a huge upgrade over gibril. Blend that with a knowledge of jets d we gotta see twice a year forever and a new potential hatred for an ex team and problems wit the fat **** coach. Definatly worth a shot in my opinion at the right price of course. But if he's just out there y wouldn't we.

I could see Miami having interest. Ryan wont answer questions, I seriously hope he is released and can come to Miami.

Finally, the future of Rhodes, who was benched late in the season but responded in a big way, remains in doubt even though he’s under contract and is due a $2.7 million roster bonus in March.
Coach Rex Ryan was unusually cryptic when asked if Rhodes would return during his season wrap-up press conference.

‘‘I’d rather not make a comment on it,’’ said Ryan after being pressed several times. He had said he spoke with Rhodes Monday but refused to reveal the nature of their conversation.

Meanwhile, Rhodes tweeted Monday: ‘‘To everybody asking about whether I m gonna stay here or not it s not the time to discuss right now. I just wanna relax for a lit bit.’’

The Jets have made it clear they want Rhodes back, but at one point Monday Ryan said regarding no one specifically, ‘‘I’m not ever going to beg somebody to do anything.’’

LoL, yes they do. BTW guys reason I see Jets getting rid of Rhodes is because of Cap problems. You see the Jets have salary issues I believe. They are even discussing getting rid of Gholston & Thomas Jones. I expect Miami to jump on Rhodes, especially with how bad Wilson has played. I think the Fins will doing some cutting of their own. Akin & Wilson should be released. Guys like Ginn & Porter should be put on the Trade Block & I would not surprised if Miami lets go of a certain someone that if I mention might get killed on this post.

He is better than what we have. I'm all for it especially since he played for the Jests. He will have major motivation to kick fatboys butt.

how can some of you ask if he's an upgrade to Wilson?
the chair your sitting in right now is an upgrade.

Well, as of right now its not because of cap issues because there is no cap in 2010. Probably a mix of economic issues and I hear Rhodes and Ryan do not see eye to eye.
