Ron Borges, of the Boston Globe, reports New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin figured CB Sam Madison would be the free agent most likely to step into a starting cornerback slot, but halfway through training camp, CB R.W. McQuarters seems likely to make the starting lineup ahead of the more heralded Madison. McQuarters may find a home at right corner if he keeps playing the way he has and Madison continues to limp with a troublesome quad.

New York Giants CB Sam Madison (hamstring) was limited at practice Sunday evening, Aug. 20.

Would he return to us if he got cut......

he wont get cut for a petty injury. he will add depth to them and when he is healthy help them out.

Nope, I watch the Giants every week, Allen scares the heck out of me! My dad is a big Giant fan. Allen is soft and gets beat deep often.

Boy I hope Saban can coach him up! Because he needs it.

i love saban and am a huge supporter...but still...Madison is hurt right now, and he signed a guy that hasnt played great for us so far(who the giants let go for Madison), to a 3 year deal worth a little bit of money. i never thought Saban looked "dumb", but i didnt like the move and still dont.

why would he not want to return to us? the franchise he has played his whole career for? we didnt cut him on bad terms..


with that said, they arent cutting him, and is happy they let allen go for him still.

its alright. i got to wear this damn vest thing thats killing me right now. i go to the doctor tomorrow morning and might get the drainage tubes taken out..hopefully.

actually madison has looked bad for the giants. You guys are just assuming hes done alright there, he hasn't.

there are mixed reports. my friend who watches the giants closely says hes looked OK when healthy, but has been beaten deep some. but the main reason being he hasnt been 100%, which is why hes sitting out now.
