Could Marino be a factor in bringing Manning in?

I heard manning and marino had lunch together about a month ago.... Marino told him to go get that ring that i never got...
Manning has a ring, he played poorly in that postseason but he has a ring.
I hope you mean go get another ring. He already has one more then Dan.

It just seems like this is the best fit for him. there are a lot of reasons for him to finish his career here.
Marino is not in anyones ear. Nor would the conversation be about what is best for the Dolphins. It would be about what is best for his friend, if they are friends. I was thinking last night, if we get Manning and he does well, it would have a large impact on franchise history and how it is viewed. Basically we are all hoping we get a QB that can do what Marino did not do, wether it is his fault of not. Definitely interesting times are headed our way, regardless of the outcomes.
