Don't know if this has been discussed yet. We all know how good wake and Odrick are on learning opposing quarterbacks cadences. Just curious what type of insight Moreno could bring to help out our D line with picking up on Peyton's tendencies.

No qb is as complicated as manning his teammates cant figure him out at the best of times nevermind a year later

From the IR list? No.

Injured reserve players can attend team meetings and around practice as much as they choose, just can't participate physically. So to think ir players just go home in a shell and don't still have a desire to help their team is a joke.

Zach Thomas did quite a good job in game planning for Peyton. To not think an inside insight can't be an advantage is false imo, even against the great Manning.

Finally!! Someone to let us know what the hell Omaha means.

We've got this game now.

I think Peyton is just hungry.

There's some film now on how to beat them without being a superpower team. The Rams must have seen something.

Disguising coverage is key. Manning's success is mostly based on pre-snap. As credit as he gets for being smart, if you can take away a primary and make him break rhythm, you can expose his lame arm strength and lack of mobility. The trick is also sensing what his primary read is. Sometimes it is the back out of the backfield.
He's shown that he can be rushed and rattled at times.

I didn't say otherwise, but having Moreno telling us how good Manning is at tossing the rock isn't going to give us any kind of measurable edge. Manning isn't a new quarterback. Any tendencies that he has would have been noticed by now. It's unlikely that we're going to pick up on something that no one has seen before just because we have Moreno.

I agree especially about the back out of the backfield, that's why I wondered what people's opinions would be on Moreno maybe bringing some insight that may give us ah advantage.

Zach Thomas was a defensive player. Moreno is a running back. How much time do you think he's spent studying Peyton Manning's tendencies? How much time do you think he even spends seeing what Manning is doing on any given play? If Moreno is doing his job, he's looking for a hole or picking up a blitz most of the time. And when he's running a route, he's not looking for tendencies; he's looking for the ball. You might have a good plot for a Hollywood movie though.

You may be right I disagree. Tendencies change throughout certain playsets, I just think clarification from a guy that spent so much time with the guy in the same offense could help. Help us pickup on their blitz protection as well as check downs.

Couldn't hurt...I would Put him under hypnosis if it helps.
