Could our Qb be...

Rosenfels looked pretty decent, and everything we've heard about Saban is that he wants to follow the 'ol Parcells-Bellicheck philosophy of "the best guy plays, regardless of draft position or salary".

Lots of coaches pay lip service to that, but their lineup decisions often say otherwise. I get the feeling that Saban is certainly secure enough in himself to start the darkhorse candidate at QB if he earns it this summer.

I read that article on Couch and I was quite impressed I think AJ will be fine but for the cost to bring in couch and that he is just now 28 with 66 career starts I am all for it!

Do you mean my post or my previous custom title?

the post was what the question was aimed at. lol. i decided to make a play on your custom title and then you went and changed it. Damn liberals. lol

It could mean two things:
A) That he's the vanilla type QB and that he knows how to play with nothing extra special added
OR...
B) That everyone likes him, like Nader but no one gives him a chance.

I got this coverd check out the pic

Lets get Ricky out there in a #7 jersey and make him the new VICK

Sage Rosenfels has wonderful physical tools and great mechanics.

But he holds on to the ball way way way too long and locks onto his recievers.

Plus, he's turnover prone also. Remember that stupid interception he threw against Baltimore in the season finale??? That was horrible. A 330 pound DT got hit right in the numbers and took it back for a TD.

"I choose B."

This message has been paid for and approved by Sage Rosenfels and the Let Sage out of the Cage campaign.

Ive been saying Sage could be the starter ever since the draft...

When Saban got here, the was a little tidbit in one of the newspapers that Saban was 'intrigued' by Sage. He certainly didnt look any worse than Feeley in the Baltimore game, and he did a lot of things much much better than Feeley did. Such as, taking control of the offense- and the ability to get the ball down the field (something that Linehan should really like). And there is one thing that Sage has that NONE of the other QBs have on our team- brains.

We know that the players have been saying that Sage is the most talented QB on the team for a couple years now. But Wanny and Rick both laid their credibility in their respective QBs for the past 2 years, and stepped on their ****s.

If Saban is really going to play the best QB- it could very well be Sage.

80%? maybe in pre-season against crap defenses, or the time he played when The Titans were beating us 31-0, but when he started in Baltimore i certainly dont remember that.
