I was just curious. I know he is an SS, but with his speed and instincts it seems like he could play FS. Any thoughts?

Well, I'm sure that he could play FS, but he is such an asset in run support, I think it would kind of be wasting his skills a little bit to make him play center field all the time. We'd be better off just drafting a true FS to patrol centerfield for us like Delmas or Johnson, if both our off the board and Chung is still there I guess he could be a potential pick. Plus, it's not exactly like Bell is a durable guy either, we need a capable backup SS anyway.

he showed better in coverage at the senior bowl than i thought. i think you could put him on an island sparingly in coverage and get away with it.

i'd still say he's a strong safety though.

Chung is a strong safety in my opinion...

He'll do ok on some mid-range crossing routes etc...but as someone already pointed out...he's best as an 8th defender in the box...or keeping the play in front of him in the passing game...

Doesn't possess the range to be most effective as a free safety in the NFL...
